A sneaky peek...
... at my latest batch of beads...these are made with limited edition Italian Vetrofond glass.
My favourite is the bead that just seems to have made it's way to the focal point of each photo.
(Oppsies, apprently I'm biased)
I tried to make some of the beads look like pebbles.
I think if I etch them they'll look pretty much how I want them too.

Wow... those are beautiful! Of course i love river rocks or rocks that are exposed at the beach..and those look like them! Yes that green bead with the curlylines is very beautiful! i think whoever buys those will be the talk of the town because it does look like stones from the beach... and people will wonder how you put holes into the rocks!

oh! oh! OH!!! I can see what you mean about the focal bead. That one is particularly lovely, with that wavy bullseye and stripe of green. They DO remind me of the pebbles i like to pick up on my favorite beach.
I'd love to see how they come out when they're etched. i really like that effect on handmade glass beads.
Now you've got me inspired. I was watching a show about lapidary this weekend and they were showing how to carve stones.... maybe I'll have to go take a walk on that beach again. A pebble necklace would be divine.

They are amazing. I see your favourite... it has a "cats eye shell" look to it. Beautiful stuff.
