... and today?
Today two men, walked towards my desk and stopped in front of it, one was the building manager, the other was a handsome, official looking guy in a suit. I said "Uh-oh, this looks ominous"
and he laughed and said "Hi, I'm Detective X from Y Police station. I'm here to take your statement about what happened yesterday. Obviously you didn't witness what happened, but what did you hear?"
He talked to each of us, and asked questions like "Could you hear two distinct voices?" and "Who called the ambulance?" and "Which one of you went upstairs?", he took our names and addresses and said we might get called as witnesses if the case goes to court.
.By the way, he has a broken hip and a broken leg. Because he has an artificial hip, it'll need replacing.

i wonder, is it the fact that a man is a police officer that makes him handsome? i had a similar situation a couple of weeks ago. a man walked into the store i work at and filled his pockets and ran out. i was so hoping it would be one of the younger, SINGLE officers, but, alas, it was one of the married ones!
@styxx374 - I noticed he was handsome before I knew he was a police officer -- he wasn't wearing a uniform. Although I did date a police officer, and the uniform does help!

Oh my... I wonder what really happened up there!
there may be more to it than what you think... hope the guy heals up well...that is a lot of injury, so no wonder there is an investigation going on....
