  • I've lost my voice!!

All I have left is a squeak. TK thinks I'm trying to trick him and keeps saying "speak up Mumma!"

I've tried explaining to him that I'm sick and it has made my voice disappear, but he just laughs and says "talk normally Mumma, I can't hear you!"

So tell me, how do you explain losing your voice to a 4yr old?

  • ohhh difficult thing to do!! if I think of anything I'll get back to you hope it comes back!!

  • My wife lost her voice recently, and it made my 6 and 3 year olds (and me too) wisper back to her.  As if she was wispering for a reason and we all had to keep quiet.  It was a strange phenomenom.

  • Bless you!  I don't know of anyway to explain things like this to a four year old.  When I lost my voice a few months back I smiled really big like it was a joke and whenever my baby asked me why I wasn't talking, I just picked him up for a hug and kiss.  -  Thanks for visiting my site.
