The painting party...
After beating Ross at 'rock-paper-sissors', I got to choose the colour of our lounge-room wall.
I invited a couple of my friends (Connie and Diana) over for a 'painting party'. Amongst gossip and giggling, the wall got painted much quicker than I thought it would.
Last night I had Ross help me hang the painting and wall sconces... although one sconce might be slightly higher than the other (my fault), so don't look too hard.
What do you think?
Makes a good feature wall, is what I think!
Thanks Connie! Thanks Diana! Thanks Ross!

i like! looks almost like a window with the sun coming through and she's peeking in. :]
I love it! What colour are the other walls?
@light_and_fluffy - the other walls are a beige colour. Similar to the colour of the cushions, but lighter.
I love the idea of flipping a coin to pick the color.
And I think it looks good! Though my OCD self is dying to center the couch under the sconces and painting. *twitch*
@lupa - I can't center the couch, Ross' ugly 'king chair' is on the other side. But, so that your OCD doesn't spiral out of control, I did measure and the painting is in the dead center of the wall.
I think it looks fantastic. I love that color. Deep, bold and certainly grabs your attention. Good job!
OMG! I loooooove that wall color!!!!! Great choice.
Oooh! I love the color, it's fabulous!
Love it and you are so welcome hun!! It was great fun. See? I'm not just a pretty face!
that's lovely!
what I think is that letting you choose color is a no brainer. Not that he can't choose a good color, but I personally would trust you on that. (I'm not surprised by the color you chose either)
To my opinion all the things you verbalize is cool
