Shameless plug...
Satake glass and sterling silver pendant.I handmade this Satake glass bead myself!
It was then annealed and I used sterling silver wire to wrap it and attach a handmade silver charm.
You could hang this from either a silver chain or a ribbon.
The pendant is 5cm from end to end.
(That's 2inches for the Americans in the house)
US$25.00 plus P&P.
It's up on my Etsy now.
(colours may vary from monitor to monitor)

gorgeous!
oooooo, pretty. I recall you mentioned you don't have an annealing kiln and you send them somewhere; where do you send your beads? Local artist? a studio? a school?
ooooh pretty!!!
I send them to a local bead artist who also sells glass, I send her the beads and she anneals them then sends them back to me all tucked up in a box with my glass order.
Wow, you've gotten really good at that bead-making! And so fast, too! I LOVE this one.
Oh, wow... Very pretty!
So, what exactly is Satake glass?
wow!!
Good to know. maybe i'll pester some of our local artists if i ever get a setup. I also have an engineer pal who has offered to help me build a kiln, since that seems to be the biggest beadmaking hurdle, so we shall see.
absolutely shocking! There are no words in the English language that will convey the beauty of that creation. All i can say is wow, and that doesn't even cover what i mean.
