  • gah, I've just painted over the painting I started the night before last. That makes two ruined paintings in a row.

... oh well... start again dee, start again.

I need to update my website. I've done 5 paintings since 'peaceful buddha' which is the last painting I posted there:

    Peaceful Buddha

Peaceful Buddha and this painting (the Mango Goddess) are my favourite (unsold) paintings this year (although the Mango Goddess has been spoken for), both are approx. 24" x 18" -- less masking tape acrylic and gold leaf on canvas.

I like them both so much I have them hanging above my computer in the lounge room.

Excuse me, I'm just trying to prove (to myself, mostly) that I can paint. Really.

... start again dee, start again.

  • Have faith. After all, I think it was Raymond Chandler who said something along the lines of us all having millions of words inside us, many of them crap. The faster you get the crap ones out, the quicker you get to the diamonds.

    You'll be painting diamonds soon.

  • i think u do great work!

  • Beautiful Paintings... I hope I grow up to be lie you one day :)

  • Relax and let go (I just told myself this because I am about to paint!) I ~love~ Mango Goddess btw...

  • Painting over doesn't ruin them!  Future archivists will be amazed when they xray those paintings to find a hidden treasure. :)

  • ...i agree with Southland: "Relax and let go." Wow - when you let go, deevaa! The earth moves.
