  • The crabs seem to 'wake up' around 9.30pm, well after TK is in bed and asleep so when I saw little fella go off on a climbing expidition I had to take some photos to prove it to TK.

And to myself really, I find it hard to believe this little creature had so much strength, so much tenacity -- and boy did he climb, up the stick, onto the blue 'lid' of the tank and away he was going... looking for a way out I'm sure. We are actually really lucky we saw it, because the night before I left the lid off the tank over night!

In the end Ross and I fished the wee crab down before we headed off to bed, worried that he might fall and potentially hurt himself.

I'm off to paint, may Ms Lempicka's spirit guide me!

  • Dee, you just keep painting like YOU...

  • great action shots!

  • While I can see the voluptuousness of Lempicka's work, I find there is a coldness and a distance that makes them inapproachable to me. Your work is warm and inviting. Don't let her spirit change that!

  • I prefer your work to Lempicka's for the reason reason ladymisstree stated. You draw me in. Lempicka makes me look at forms as though they are on display. You make me want the story behind the painting. She makes me think only about the angle and light. You make me think about the character that inhabits your painted story.

In short, dear one, you are better than her.

  • Yes, I think your work is about fabulous curves and a real celebration of the female form as opposed to an objectification.

And holy climbing crabs, batman! No idea they could do that!

My Mac only had problems the first day, D... But then again, my Mac is so different from yours there's really no good comparison. I Use OS X and a browser called Chimera. I haven't tried the "new" Xanga on OS 9 or earlier.
