  • *insert scream here*

    I just ruined a painting.

Tore it down from the easel and smushed it straight into the bin.

Pretty unlike me. I chucked out two days work. But that painting sucked. It was going to be the last in my womanscape series.

I'm going to sketch out my next painting tomorrow, I'm thinking maybe an art deco inspired face/woman.

But, I guess you'll see when its done.

Oh, by the way. I just got done reading "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella, OMG it was too freaking funny. I laughed out loud so many times. It's compared to "Bridget Jones' Diary" in a few of the reviews I've read and it is, in so far that it is about a single, sometimes needy 30-something woman.

Both Bridget and Rebecca (the main character in "Confessions") are so damn real and there are heaps of places that I can identify with the her.

... although I've never told my bank manager that I've got glandular fever, or a broken leg ...

... Or lied about speaking Finish on my resume and then run out of the building when the recruitment agent takes me to a job interview with the Helsinki Bank.

*chuckle* I'll be sure to be looking out for any other books by Sophie Kinsella -- Amazon mentions that there are more 'shopaholic' sequals. They'll be on my "to be read pile" soon.

    I wish I had a bookshelf. LOL.

Note: am I the only one who sees my front page with a background colour that isn't white?
