TK received a letter from United Airlines in response to his cardboard planes:
Dear TK
I work at United Airlines' graphics department in an office complex outside Chicago.
I received a call about the airplanes that you made, asking where we could display them. I decided to place them on a table in our main office where we have been putting all of the condolences that we have received over the past two weeks. I also put your picture and your Mom's letter next to the planes.
This office is home to over 5,000 employees, not to mention the many visitors that come by. I've noticed several people looking at your work and they are all very impressed and touched by it. I have enclosed two photos so you can see where they are.
While the airplanes unfortunately can't replace the broken ones, your kind thoughts will go a long way to help us fix our broken hearts. The world is still a wonderful place, and people like you are the reason.
Thankyou for thinking of us,
Sincerely,
Mick Masuka

The photos are poloroids so aren't that sharp.
