  • Staff Christmas Party

The tradition at our Staff Christmas party's is that there is a theme, you either go as theme or you go 'Black Tie'.

The last time we went to the Christmas party (2006) the theme was 'through the ages' and the Marketing table dressed as '70's Punks'.

Ross and I didn't go to last years party, this year the theme was the 2008 Leica Olympics. The marketing table decided to go dressed as the torch relay, we had Chinese Red Guards, we had (sexy) Security guards, we a runner with the torch and we had the 'Free Tibet' protestors.

Ross and I went dressed as hippies protesting for a Free Tibet.

From now on you can call me Moon beam.

  • The painting party...

After beating Ross at 'rock-paper-sissors', I got to choose the colour of our lounge-room wall.

I invited a couple of my friends (Connie and Diana) over for a 'painting party'. Amongst gossip and giggling, the wall got painted much quicker than I thought it would.

Last night I had Ross help me hang the painting and wall sconces...  although one sconce might be slightly higher than the other (my fault), so don't look too hard.

    What do you think?

Makes a good feature wall, is what I think!

Thanks Connie! Thanks Diana! Thanks Ross!

  • The yummiest muffins...

I just made the yummiest carrot, apple and pecan muffins.

I put cream cheese frosting on them, and because I was out of vanilla essence, I swapped it out with lemon essence.

    YUM.

Hands up if you want the recipe.
