  • TK goes horse riding...

    TK asked for horse riding lesson's for his birthday. He'd seen the equestrian eventing on the Olympics and wanted to give it a go.

    So today Ross and I took him to a local horse riding center and he had his first lesson, as you can see it was a beautiful day, Ross and I sat on a log near the paddock the lesson was in, we had the perfect vantage point, and it was really nice just being out in the sun.

    Listening to instructions on how to get onto the horse. TK's horse was named 'Sunny'. Sunny is 20 years old.

    I'm not so sure that Sunny was doing as he was told by TK, or, if he just pretty much knew what he had to do.

    By the end of the lesson TK was able to ride Sunny back to the shed (stable?) without any guidance, and helped to take the saddle off and gave Sunny a brush down.

  • have to love the concentration on his face in the last shot.

    if it's a horse from a riding stable, i'd imagine it'd pretty much know what to do and when to do it.  however, for new riders or just people who want to ride for fun, it's not bad having a four footed beast take the reins so to speak and let you enjoy yourself.
