This TK story is as told to me by TK’s Dadda – TK spends Saturday/Sunday with him every fortnight.
TK went out with his Dadda someplace and met another little boy (Jesse) who was not only the same colour as him, but who also has the same hair (TK has commented a few times that he’s the only brown boy with curly hair at his school, there is another brown boy in his grade, but he is Fijian-Indian and has straight hair).
TK: we are the same colour!
Jesse: I’m from Africa, you must be from Africa too!
TK: No, I'm from New Zealand.
Dadda: TK, you are half New Zealander and half African, because I’m from Africa and Mumma is from New Zealand.
TK: No! I’m from New Zealand.
(Apparently the conversation went around like this for about 15mins – according to TK he and I are from New Zealand, and his Dadda is from Africa, end of story.)
Updated so I could show off TK's school photo:
What I want to know it is how the hell did I have such a handsome kid!?
As Ross so kindly pointed out, he looks nothing like me. He has my dimple and that's about it. And even then, I think his father has a dimple too.
I also want to know when he grew up?

cutie, i love the stubbornness.
I think he looks like you....he has your eyebrows, you nose... he has your gorgeous smile. He also has your fire and artistic talent.
And they grow up when you blink.
He's going to break some hearts, that's for sure!

And get some ladies' juices running!
He really is a beautiful child.
Yup, I'm with MouBou on this. I see a lot of you in him. He's a cutie.
Well really, since he was born in NZ, he really is FROM NZ, not Africa.
Aaah, the way kids' mind work! Isn't it amazing. If only I knew what Pojo is usually thinking... LOL!
TK certainly is one handsome young man!
So cute!
Such a cutie. definately going to break some hearts when he gets older.
peace
