Update on the international girl of mystery. (Thats me)
ahh... still no job, I had a promising interview today though. They made me sit an hour long PageMaker test, which apparently I passed, I also got a painting commission yesterday, which I am pretty excited about.
Argyle and I made our first joint purchase over the weekend - although I am exempt from making payments on it until I have a job. It is a lovely comfy sofa to replace a very hard 'sit up straight' hand-me-down. It doesn't arrive for another 6 weeks though, which means it will arrive at about the same time as my boxes do.
I still can't remember my new mobile phone's number. I can however, get our home phone number right almost every time I'm asked for it though.
I have successfully mastered the train system, I managed to find my way home from the city all by myself today, and I now know the way from the train station to our house and from our house to TK's kinder without getting lost.
I'm doing ok.

Glad to hear you're doing well. I'm sure the job's coming. Keep the faith...
Dee - you will find work. Because there is someone out there who NEEDS your talent. Adjusting to total newness is something I cannot begin to imagine. You are incredibly brave, and I hope you know that I greatly admire that about you (always have).
Kluless is so right...that's what makes you a Diva
WOOHOO!! I'm living in the same house I was in for a year before I went to VA and I STILL can't get my phone number right half the time!
