  • I guess I am feeling a bit homesick today, also a little frustrated by the fact I've not found a job yet, but as everybody has been telling me, these things take time.

To cheer me up, Argyle suggested we go to TGI Friday's for dinner tonight, I'm still feeling a little blue --  he is in reading 'Thomas the Tank Engine' stories to TK and I can hear their voices faintly murmuring behind the wall, and I can't help but smile.

  • ...hey, please don't be discouraged. Time IS required. I couldn't believe it when you said you were interviewing already. The job will come in its own time and when it does, you'll be delighted the other leads didn't work out. Consider yourself closer to THE JOB with every dead end.
    ...think'n of ya. MuSe

  • these things take time, baby! give australia a few weeks to figure out you're there and THEN come prostrating itself at your feet.
    trust me, it'll happen.

  • Changes always take time to get used to.  Maybe the job thing is all there is to it, and if so, you're much farther along than a lot of people I know who might make the same sort of decisions you did.  Kudos to you, dearest, and don't forget to give yourself the time YOU need to adjust.

  • You have always landed on your feet, Dee.  You will do so again.  Have FAITH in YOU!
